We surveyed our network of SEO industry professionals from all around the world, some Sitebulb customers and some not. Over a 2-month period, 301 participants took part. Our survey results are thanks to these 301 responses.
Just under a third of respondents (29.3%) had 5 years of experience or less in SEO (“least experienced SEOs"). A similar proportion (29.2%) had between 5 and 10 years of experience (“experienced SEOs”), while the remainder (41.5%) had 10 or more years of experience in the industry (“super experienced SEOs”).
Approximately two thirds of surveyed respondents (64.1%) were agency side or consultants, while the remaining just over a third (35.9%) were in-house.
