Climb & Conquer is a search and Klaviyo specialist agency serving clients ranging from startups to large enterprise. We spoke to Shane Parkins, Founder of Climb & Conquer, about transitioning from the desktop version of Sitebulb to the cloud version, and how the switch has allowed the agency to scale.
As the agency’s client roster and website sizes grew, their previous crawl tech stack of Screaming Frog and Sitebulb Pro (desktop) became increasingly unwieldy.
"It was very much a hybrid approach,” explained Shane. “It was based on the preference of the person joining the company and not really standardized."
"With the desktop tools, we had issues with compatibility and limits on RAM usage that made it difficult to crawl the large enterprise-level websites we were increasingly working with."
After evaluating the limitations of their desktop-based setup, Climb & Conquer made the switch to Sitebulb Cloud about 4-5 months ago. The always-on, cloud-based nature of this version of Sitebulb allowed the agency's 5-person SEO team to collaborate more effectively and crawl sites of up to 600-800k URLs without the constraints of desktop software.
“Sitebulb Cloud just opens up more agility. It's much quicker to do audits, and we're able to be more effective for the large sites doing millions in monthly revenue.”

Climb & Conquer's SEO team has come to rely on a variety of Sitebulb's advanced features to drive results for their clients:
The multi-site dashboard provides an eagle-eye view across all the websites they manage, allowing them to quickly identify and address any issues.
"The multi-site Looker Reports are massively important for us," said Shane. "When you've got a lot of sites to look after, it gives you that top-level Director view of what's going wrong."

The team also makes heavy use of Sitebulb's Search Console integration, which reframes data in more insightful ways than the native Google tool. Features like click-through rate by position and traffic percentile ranges give them a much clearer picture of performance.
"Even if we only do a 50% sample, we get so much more data than we would doing it manually," explained Shane. "It just reframes a lot of the data at scale and pace that you wouldn't get otherwise."
Additionally, Sitebulb's JavaScript rendering analysis has been invaluable for uncovering issues on the dynamic, complex websites Climb & Conquer's enterprise clients often have. "It just unlocks a lot of features that are a huge time-saver," said Shane.

By streamlining their technical SEO workflows with Sitebulb Cloud, Climb & Conquer has seen a significant boost in efficiency and productivity. Shane estimates the agency is saving 10-12 business days per year compared to their previous desktop-based setup, freeing up time to focus on more strategic, high-impact work for clients.
"The fact that we're spending a few hours less on tech audits means those hours aren't just saved in the business, we can allocate that time to other areas of the campaign and really accelerate things in a compounding way," explained Shane.
Sitebulb's JavaScript crawling and Google tool integrations have also provided Climb & Conquer's team with richer, more dynamic data to inform their enterprise SEO strategies.
"Sitebulb has always been integral to our services," said Shane. "But the cloud dynamic has really accelerated our use of it and made it much more beneficial for our business and our clients."
