March 2026
Resolved UI issues on certain Cloud server instances.
Performance Budget values in URL Details are now summing correctly.
Link counts are now consistent between Link Explorer, URL Details, and Links exports.
View Crawl settings in Cloud now displays the correct domain and setting for the project that is being viewed.
Shopify sites can now be crawled successfully with Shopify headers authentication.
Fixed a bug where robots.txt directives were being misinterpreted, causing some sites to be incorrectly flagged as not indexable.
There was an issue that caused PDF report exports to fail to generate on Sitebulb Cloud.
Fixed a null reference error that occurred in Sitebulb Cloud when setting up an audit on a URL that redirects.
Chrome crawler was incorrectly reporting total page transfer size instead of just the HTML file size in the HTML Size hint.
Fixed a display error within the Content Extraction report that prevented the URL list from loading when viewing extracted data.
We had a bug where URLs with successful HTTP status codes (200) were incorrectly triggering the 'Error (5xx) URL in XML Sitemap' hint.
Resolved a bug where the Chrome crawler would report "no source HTML was received" and incorrectly flag canonical tags as missing.
The PDF builder had started buffering when building the report, so it would cycle around endlessly and never actually generate the PDF.
Fixed an issue where HTTP authentication credentials were not being applied when crawling XML Sitemaps only, which made it harder to audit staging sites properly.
February 2026
Critical chart rendering issue (desktop)
Charts/graphs missing in reports
PDF exports appearing blank
Caused by third-party library changes (not a Sitebulb bug)
Full chart system replacement
All charts and graphs rebuilt
Affects all desktop users, regardless of whether issues were seen
Users must update to the latest version ASAP
New Indexability Hint added
Flags pages where HTML exceeds 2MB
Based on Google crawl limitations
Large HTML files may be truncated or not fully indexed
Marked as a critical issue
Particularly relevant for large pages with important content
Located in Indexability section
Helps identify potential indexing risks from oversized pages
We fixed a lot of bugs in this release, mostly small ones that only affect one or two sites (we'll email you directly about those). To sum up the other changes:
Printing PDFs now works again, following the updates to the graphing library (see top of update)
A lot of updates to improve how Sitebulb validates hreflang across various implementation methods, and cleaning up the messaging regarding x-default.
Sitebulb was reporting links incorrectly on certain websites (only very specific ones, don't worry!).
Some mismatches with how Sitebulb was handling different data types for Content Search and Content Extraction (which was causing weird issues on edge cases).
Sitebulb's UI was making it look like the user-agent value was never saving, when in fact it was (according to devs, this was because of a 'race condition', which sounds like Sitebulb was losing a race against itself. Cool cool).
